How does it work without a battery?
The plaque contains a passive NFC tag that activates during your customer's tap. It stores your business's link without a battery or charging. Opening the online page uses the phone's internet connection.
Is this the same as tap-to-pay?
It uses NFC, the same short-range technology used for tap-to-pay. These plaques open a programmed link; they do not collect payments.
Does every phone work?
The tap feature needs a compatible NFC-enabled phone with NFC available. Phone settings and where you hold it can vary. I'll demonstrate the plaque and help you test it.
Do customers need an app?
They don't need an NFC scanning app on supported phones. Google may ask them to sign in before posting a review.
Is there a subscription?
The plaque is a one-time purchase from Vensett. Any separate website, menu hosting, or third-party service you choose may have its own costs.
Can you print my logo on it?
The products shown are the current designs. Setup means programming your business's link, rather than printing a custom design.
